What happens to your body when you quit smoking?
I need to quit asap, I want to feel healthy and like a 22 y/o again. I’ve smoked a pack a day for 3 years.. what will my body feel like? What things will happen to me and how long before the cravings stop?
A few weeks ago I woke up and went out with my fiance’s mom (she doesn’t know we smoke).. so for 8 hours I survived without one. I should have quit for good!

I was a chain smoker for years went cold turkey nearly 3 years ago.Best thing you could ever do.Breathing fresh air feels great.Clearer skin.A good tip drink alot of water through the first coulpe of days and keep yourself busy.Do anything to take your mind off it.You will feel good in your self once you beat the habit plus think of the extra money you will have to go and do the things you enjoy.I have confidence in you.Best of luck.
You will get fat…i know 4 persons of 5 that quit and gain a lot.
Number one: you can only quit if you want to. remedies fail if you have no ambition
Number 2: You will go through withdrawal symptoms. nicotnine is addictive.
Number 3: Cravings never stop. You will increase the willpower to overcome the cravings.
Number4: After your body has adjusted to not getting what it is craving, you will breathe better, and have more energy, Your mental psyche will become more acute.
Number 5: the drawback- your tastebuds will become more enhanced, casuing you to eat more.
i don’t know what happens, but all the best, good luck…
God bless.
Try breathing exercises such as Pranayam, it is proven to be very very useful in helping such situations. Read about it, there is an Indian guru on it, Swami Ramdev.
