How to get my boyfriend to stop smoking cigs?

Idunno what to do. He doesnt smoke around me, ever. I told him not too.
I know its addictive, is there anyway i can help him outt? Or tell him i dont
like it?

You just tell him. You can also give him an ultimatum and ask him to chose between you and the ciragette.

huun, i know how you feel. i was recently in a relationship when my man smoked. there is nothing you can do. just accept him for who he is. maybe if you guys get married and he proposes to you, you can remind him that if he wants to be with you as long as possible, that he should try to quit smoking. I know that it’s really hard to stop, you get headaches and it really hurts. (not that I’ve ever smoked, i heard it from my librarian you just quit.) Just remind him that if he quits, he’ll have more time with you.
You can’t. No one can get him to stop.
He has to want to stop for himself.

I’m a smoker. I also have lung problems COPD but I still smoke.
I will quit when I’m ready. I don’t know when that will be but it has to be soon.
I know it will kill me.

honestly you dont want to be controlling. i have asthma and my bf smokes ciggs so he doesn’t do drugs, he wont smoke them around me but i cant get him to quit either. at least hes respectful of your presence
