How do I get my dad to stop smoking without anyone else finding out I know?

My dad smokes, but keeps it a secret. He doesn’t even know that I know he does it. I’m scared of him and kind of mad for him to just lie like that. And i leave clues around that I know, but I don’t even think he realizes them. and I’m really worried about his health. He is a diabetic too and so I think it’s really bad for him. Please help me.

Trust me, your mom knows. You don’t stay married to someone for many years and not know their little secrets. I’m sure your dad notices your little clues too, he just doesn’t care that you know. He’s the parent, you’re the child. He’s not suppose to care what you think. He’s an adult, he’s earned the right to smoke. You haven’t earned any right to question him on anything. You are suppose to respect all adults. Especially your parents. So stop dropping clues, and accept it.
