How do I convince a relative to quit smoking while pregnant?

My father and step-mother are expecting their first child in 6 months and I’m really excited about it. HOWEVER, my step-mom has not quit smoking and isn’t showing any signs of planning to quit. It has me really upset because I know how harmful that can be for the baby and I really want my brother or sister to be healthy, My step-mother has already had one miscarriage within the last year and we all want to avoid that happening again, but I don’t know how to bring up how much her smoking is bothering me. Any suggestions?

I am not paying $14 to find out how this magic trick is performed. There was a person that showed up to a number of us students in an frozen goodies shop last week and ask if anyone had a dime. My good friend gave the man a dime and he pulled out a sharpie marker and said to put her initials on the front and rear of the coin. Then he got out a clear balloon from his pocket and inflated it up. The guy took my friends signed dime and stuck it within the balloon through the walls. We’re able to see the dime and listen to the dime in the balloon. Amazing. How on the earth can one do this? Following the magic trick was over he handed my friend the balloon and said to allow the air out of it and to rip it open to find out if it was her signed dime. It was. I recently found a relevant video of the same trick on youtube. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
Drueke is a great name in chess and cribbage gear, so I bought this sight-unseen online. I was most disappointed. The mousepad style floppy board was great. The carrying bag was great. The style of the pieces was good. The problem was that the weights are not all glued in very well. There were a few that rattled around. I returned it and bought the Plastic Collectors set from House of Staunton. I’ll never go back. The detail, finish, and build quality are all superb. I have other Drueke chess sets and was not disappointed. They really need to go back to their old (high) stnadards of quality control. Apparently, this is what happens when you pack up and move manufacturing to China…
