Does the stop smoking patches and pills really works?

Have you have any experience? My husband wants to stop smoking but it seems really hard for him and I want to help him.

err pills i dunno, am using patches and they really do help, like they make you almost not want one, control the cravings and that really well and make it so so much easier, i recommend them :) niquitin!

**oh and you can start at step one and after 6 weeks go to step 2 which is less nicotine for 2 weeks then step 3 which is even less for another 2 weeks, so you sort of wean yourself of the patches… but it’s way better than smoking as nicotine isn’t what’s bad for you :) good luck to your husband, no smoking day on wednesday could be a good inspiration :p

Cold turkey is the best and safest way. Will power.

Yes the pill does work. It is actually Welbutrin, a common anti-depressant. It chemically alters the seratonin levels in the brain and turns off the craving. Good luck, quitting is not easy, but it is the best thing to do.

actualy… they all work, and none works… depends on you!!!.. for myself, i tried most of the methods, wellbutrin, patches, ect.. i found the thing that worked for me, was participation in a nicotine anonymous group.. mettings can be found in most larger cities, and online..
