What does it mean when you dream of someone other then your significant other?

For over a week now I have been having dreams every night about someone else, a male friend that we both have known for many years. Sometimes the dreams are sexual but sometimes they are just plain weird. for instance, the one that stands out the most is:
We're on top of a volcano at night and I'm wearing a brief island costume and he's wearing a 3-piece suit and is tied to a pole. He is surrounded by gnomes, leprechauns and various other small fantasy creatures. they are chanting for me to push him into the volcano.
Most of the others are blatantly sexual. This is not someone I have ever thought of in this way and I am very happy and satisfied with my husband. This other person does volunteer work with me about once a week but we do not see each other socially. Although we do talk almost everyday via email concerning our volunteer work, as we are co-leaders together, him being slightly higher in command then I am. He is also married and I am friendly with his wife and our children get along together very well.
One other detail is the night these dreams started was my first night taking the stop smoking aid Chantix. these dreams are in no way scary or psychotic. Any idea or help would be very appreciated. thank you.

To push/Hands: It's in your hands now. Lend a hand. Ask for a helping hand. Also a means of expressing yourself.
Small fantasy creatures, this could mean you need to learn to laugh at yourself and the world around you, don't take things so seriously.
