I smoked and I was just able to quit. I just didn’t buy it…stayed away from places that sold it…chewed a lot of gums and started playing video games to keep my mind off of it.
Cold turkey is the best way, but not easy. Try chewing gum and push ups when ever you get a craving. I quit last year after smoking for 4 years. Ima not saying its gonna work for you but working out when ever i had a really bad craving helped so much. Mix it up push ups, sit ups etc..
don’t stop all together slowly start smoking less if you smoke a pack a day try a half a pack and then go from that
If you’re serious, you’ll try the “helping things.” But you might want to join a group, that’s more effective than trying you on your own.
The only way to quit is to committ to it 100%. If you cannot honestly say you are fully committed to quitting, then nothing you do will work.
I smoked for forty years prior to experiencing symptoms of a heart
attack.
I looked at my cats and the cigarettes and decided what was more
important. No brianer.I quit without The Patch or other medicines.
Plus the power of prayer works wonders.God put us here and He
can help us overcome any self destructive habits.
Best of luck to you.
They say it’s mind over matter. I’ve been smoking over 41 years, have quit several times but start back again. I have cut down by telling myself to wait 30 more minutes before I light up. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t. Good luck in your efforts.
hi Led Zeppelin..
try hanging with non smokers.. or better yet folks that have already quit and can answer those questions..
