Trying to quit smoking. Has anyone tried using the “patch” along with the lozenges?

I’ve used the patch in the past and the results were “ho hum”. Feel like I need a little extra help, but don’t want to do anything dangerous. Thanks.

I quit smoking in february and got a nicorette inhaler from the NHS, I wasn’t allowed the chewing gum aswell, the inhaler is quite strong actually and you get cartridges aswell, I didn’t think the patches would do any good as I missed holding the cigarette (well I smoke roll ups!)…as a smoker it won’t sound silly to you saying that!!
So I would advise getting the inhaler…I do know people who have taken the lozenges and patches and they were ok!
Good luck…(i didn’t last started again a month ago due to a blocked sink stress ;D )

I didn’t like the patch – bad dreams and working outside, sweating, hard to keep on. I chewed nicorette and forced myself to go get something done, keeping hands busy. I still use the gum in stress situations, which I tend to avoid if possible, but that’s a whole different topic!
