State’s tobacco ‘raid’ debated before Ohio Supreme Court
Ohio’s top leaders had no more authority to raid a fund intended for anti-smoking programs than they would to dip into the pension funds for retired public employees, an attorney for the now-defunct tobacco foundation told the Ohio Supreme Court yesterday.
