Should i try to quit smoking gradually over a few weeks or just straight away?
Based on your own experience, what is the better way to quit smoking?
should i just try to smoke less and less everyday or just throw by box away and try to quit all in one day?
take in account that i smoke about 7-10 cigs per day.
and please no stupid kid answers… in fact if you’ve never smoked, you probably cant help me with this….

Gradually. Take it in steps and ween yourself off of the cigs. That way you’re more likely to succeed
You can’t “Gradually” quit. After forty seven years I went cold turkey. It was hard, the first week, then the second but, I could see the “light” and was kind of proud. It’s been twelve years now and when I see the cigarettes at Walmart priced at $7.00 a pack, I shudder and think it was the best choice I ever made. I can’t ever remember never smoking. I started when cigarettes were 7 cents a pack, and filters were unheard of.
gradually never works! but it depends on age too.
my dad and brother and uncles and granparents are alllllll smokers. and my dad quits for a while and then goes back……. so looking at my dad’s experience, when he wanted to quit he quits, and not use less and less everyday, and in my opinion thats bad, cus he always gets cranky, and mad all the time, and he always gets frustrated at us over no reason at alll….. and my big brother had enough and he went and got him a packet of ciggies!!!!!!
so my point is just try and smoke less and less everyday…. its much better.
If you try to stop gradually, you are most likely to allow yourself a couple more cigarettes than intended, and you may end up putting it off. That’s what happens with any addiction. My suggestion is to wait until the weekend. The reason why is, if you try to do it on the weekdays, where you have work, it will be difficult to focus. So as soon as you finish work on Friday, throw out the pack and go out. I suggest somewhere without any stores so that you are away from temptation, like a hike, or a gym or the mall to see a movie. Keep everything light hearted, you want to reduce any stress to give your mind the impression you dont need cigarettes. replace that satisfaction you get from a cigarette with good food. A lot of people also try chewing gum to keep them busy.
You can try quitting it gradually because by quitting all in one day would not be good for your health and it would cause problems.
Try the e-cigarette.
They are exactly like the real one but without all the bad stuff that the real have.
I was a smoker for 15 years and with the e-cigarette quiting was the easiest thing ever.

There’s no best way to quit. Also, everyone is different in the way they stop smoking, so what worked for me might not work for you.
