Should I quit smoking now or wait for New Years Day?
I ask because of the mental factor of having the new Years resolution to help me when it gets tough? What do you think?
And can you believe it, Yahoo Answers doesn’t have a New Years Day in their Holiday’s category. What a hoot!
wait, because you will be drinking (if you do drink) and you are going to want a smoke

The sooner you quit, the better for you. You need to be strong with your will power.

I know. I thought that funny too.
Well, I always say why not start now, but you do have a point there. If having that as a resolution would help for the New Year, then save it for then. I commend you for giving it up and I really do wish you a lot of luck in doing it. I know it’s hard, but you will be very happy once you’ve succeeded in giving it up completely. I gave up smoking over 20 years ago. I snuck a smoke once in a blue moon when I was in a bad relationship, but I didn’t buy a pack a cigs. I’ve been out of that bad relationship since November 2000, so I haven’t ever had a desire to have a cig, so it was definitely the nerves that caused me to sneak one once in a blue moon. You can do this!! I’m rooting for ya!
Happy New Year!!
