u shoul get a job n try not 2 think bout ciggrates.keep ur mind on sumthin else.
You need to distract yourself with something positive. You’ve done the right thing by quitting and it will get easier so hang in there. They will use up a great deal of your money and destroy your health and the way I see it, life has enough problems without creating more.
I don’t know how to take care of the craving, but when you think you need a cigarette, especially when you think you need one to calm down, Just take a series of deep breaths. The way you breath when smoking is part of what makes it calming. So if you breath slowly and deeply without a cigarette, you can still achieve the calming effect.
Cigarettes were the worst companion you ever had. You haven’t lost anything, you’ve gained quite a bit, like your health! I quit two years ago and it was HARD. You’ve just got to keep going- minute by minute until they add up to days upon days. You can do it, try to keep the reason(s) why you are quitting in the fore front of your mind. Do ANYTHING other than pick up a cigarette. Talk a walk, take a nap, go to Quitnet.com and join a chat room there. That site was megga helpful to me. I know it’s hard now, but as time goes on it will get easier. Drink lots and lots of water, eat healthily and go for walks or runs or whatever exercise you like. Just don’t smoke!
