My dad is going to try to quit smoking, how can I support/help?

I smoke too but I am not nearly as addicted as he is, I can quit whenever & I told him when he quit I would for good too. He is close to 60 & he’s been smoking since he was like 15. He asked my two sisters for patches cause he has tried them before & he thought they worked good..anyway what can I do to help him..??

switch his tobbaco cigarettes , with “cigarettes” that are made with honey & marshmello, or rose, and other natural herbs. he can “smoke” those
and get him nicotine gum.

like if he smoke 3 per day than make schedule like this

thurs-1
fri-2
sat-1
repeat all by puting -1 perday
still if he want to smoke than give him hurbel cigrate
I am trying ecigarettes. Much better than patches IMO and so far so good.
Good for him !!! Well: as for me I… well `bout 25/35 minutes after waking up on a thursday morning about sept-or-Oct. !?! I just remember that the day it was started with ‘`a`’ “T” !”?”! and for some reason I managed to let `bout 10 or 15 minutes pass without reaching for a smoke !!! so I got out of bed cleaned or rather washed up,ate something & noticed that I still had’nt reached for one !?! YeT !?! Now from that point on I tried to see `bout how long it would be before I reACHED FOR ONE !?! sO NEXT i WENT TO MAKE MYSELF A FIRST MEAL OF THE DAY !!! bUT STILL DID’NT LIGHT UP TIL `BOUT 3:3″?” THAT AFTERNOON A.K.A. after three thirty noon time !! aND DID’NT SMOKE TIL ALMOST 10 P.M. THAT EVENING !!… sO `BOUT 3 DAYS LATER WHICH IS WHEN i FINISHED THE PACK OF SMOKES i DID HAVE !!! i THINK i SMOKED `BOUT 2 EVERY THREE DAYS SINCE THEN!?! i have not had a smoke for a few months now !!!. i JUST MADE UP MY MIND !! & THE FACT THAT i JUST SO0 HAPPEN TO SEE ON MY LOCAL NEWS HOW THE COST WOULD BE GOING UP YET again !! ;-{} IT’S BEEN … WELL i FORGET NOW HOW LONG IT HASBEEN !! but I’ve hadno smokes of my own since then !! But has asked to bum a few !! yet & still I can tell any that ask that I’m a NON~sMOkErRr~now !!!!been smoking since I was `bout 17 !?!
