Chantix is a miracle pill. I smoked while I was taking it…it took me about 3 months..and the cigarettes began to smell bad and taste bad. Little by little I had no cravings and I quit. The side effects were nausea unless I took the pill with food and vivid dreams ( not scary,,just vivid).
You are suppose to pick a quit date…I did not..I continued smoking until they tasted and smell real bad and I didn’t want to smoke anymore.

Most drugs have side effects. You can check them out at drugs.com or rxlist.com.

When you try to stop smoking you usually have fluctuating blood sugar. I’ve had success taking chromium and selenium during the day to balance it, and it is much easier to quit.

So you are seriously concerned about the side effects of something you are unnecessarily putting into your body? Is that what I am understanding?

Sit down and think hard about that.

Give up the smokes cold turkey. I know it’s not easy, but you know it’s the right answer.

side effects are a possibility not a certainty. just because it lists some specific side effect doesn’t mean that you are guaranteed to get it. I’ve taken plenty of medications and only gotten one side effect.

I had absolutely awful side effects from it – but I have really bad side effects from most anti-depressants. And I smoked more than I ever did while using it, ha ha…

However – I know probably a half dozen people who quit using it – so, try it – if you start feeling really awful, you stop taking it…its that simple.

I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.

it’s the one that got me off the cigs and smoke free for GOOD even without gaining weight! :)

    Good luck kicking the habit!
