It ain’t easy. Patches help. Attitude and desire are important. If you don’t REALLY want to, you won’t.
The mint nicotine lozenges (Commit) help a lot. I cut them in quarters & pop one occasionally. Seems to take the edge off. E-cigs did nothing for me.

I quit smoking 11yrs. ago,and I haven’t looked back.My wife and I both quit at the same time.
We’re both Christians and we simply prayed and asked God to give us the strength to help us
quit.We immediately stopped smoking cold turkey and three weeks later we both lost the desire
to smoke.Prior to that,we were both pack a day smokers. You can do the same thing.

LIke my Avatar? I wear it proudly as I have been smoke free over one month now. And believe me, I NEVER thought I would quit. Threw them away, stocked up on gum, veggie and fruit snacks, bottled water, juice, went on line and signed on to forums for ex smokers, got their support and asked questions, took naps and walks. I kept one cig (no lighter) and held it in my hand when I walked or did things I normally did with a cig to help me get over the oral fixation. The count down was great..one day, one week, two weeks and after that, no need to really count. No patches, meds, ecigs, just cold turkey. Come join us and God bless!!!
