Get rid of your smoking friends and all your smoking paraphernalia but only after you’ve already cut down to the point you don’t crave it anymore. You know, after you get the ‘nicotine shakes’, the disgusting craving for something you just can’t name (and it’s not food, it’s nicotine, trust me) and the nicotine is finally out of your system after 2 days time.

Develop a gum addiction or something to keep your hands busy enough while you miss holding that phantom cigarette.

Wash your sheets and clean your apt. so the smell doesn’t linger. Febreze the hell out of it if necessary. Do not go anywhere where smoking exists or you’ll be back to puffing. That’s like sticking a recovering alcoholic into a bar and not expect them to partake.

Chantex is a new prescription that blocks the nicotine receptors so you don’t get anything from smoking. Highest success rate. You keep smoking when you start.

Get all the candy you can.. Everytime you’re craving a ciggie, put some candy in your mouth instead.. Gums and lollies worked really good for my sister..

  • Alex says:

Have a peppermint each time you crave a cigarette, the craving will go away.

And to have lots of water, and the nicotine will wash out

Make sure you get a lot of fresh air and exercise, it will help your brain recover

    have faith
