Husband quit smoking and having a hard time refraining?

He quit for a good 3-4 weeks and then suddenly started taking drags here and there, then 1/2 cigs, ugh..he was doing so good. He is even on the generic form of Zyban, not sure what it’s called though, which is supposed to help him quit for good. I guess it’s not exactly working too good. Anyone have any advice? He bought some gum and candy, but they don’t replace cig’s, just temporarily.

I found nicotine lozenges were helpful when I quit smoking. That, eating lots of carrots and pumpkin seeds and trying to keep as active as possible. Not certain if nicotine products should be used if he’s taking Zyban or something similar.

I quit by slowly reducing the amount of cigarettes. I think if he slowly quits, he will feel less stressed and have a better chance of quitting for good. This site helped me do that.
