Nicorette – it saved my fiance when we quit smoking. Only take a piece when you’re having one of those “fist through the wall” cravings, and eventually you’ll be down to 0 a day.

From experience, you will have intense cravings for the first week, the second week less, the third week much less and by the forth week, none at all.

The only thing that helped me was PURE INTESTINAL FORTITUDE with the idea, I WILL QUIT.

    Good Luck.

The cravings last for months, getting gradually better. Never go away entirely. What you need is Chantix — it’s the most effective stop smoking drug. Be careful about nicotine replacement products, you don’t want to use them if you smoke less than half a pack a day because they can make your habit worse rather than better.

I quit a little over a year ago. The first 72 hours suck (which is why i quit over a 3 day weekend), and the first two weeks are uncomfortable, but after that, it’s smooth sailing! Quitting was one of the best things I could have ever done for myself! During those first two weeks I let myself have as much candy as I wanted. kind of a treat for being so good, plus it helped whenever I had a craving. Dots were my favorite because they take so long to eat, but many people like Twizzlers since they’re kind of like a cigarette. There are some new Twizzlers out that have different flavorings, other than the boring cherry flavor, i tried them and loved them! Pretty much you have to find what works for you. I knew candy would work for me because I never eat candy, so it was a reward for me, and I knew I wouldn’t transfer my addiction to candy when the two weeks were up. Good luck ;o) you’ll be glad you quit in the future! I can promise you that!
