How do I get help for my son (16) to quit smoking? He doesn’t want to but has a health condition.?

His lung condition (spontaneous pneumothorax) can be very serious. Doctor’s orders are NO SMOKING. My son has cut down but not completely stopped.

He’s 16! Where/how is he getting cigarettes? Cut off his supply and his money. ….You could also try taking photos of him a LOT…and when he asks why you’re doing that, tell him, “So I’ll have something to remember you by…”

I dont know but make him quit now…before it gets even more difficult to put them down.

Keep him busy. Create an environment that does not allow smoking. Every day he should wash the dishes, vacuum the house, dust, clean the toilet, do the laundry, wash all the cars, etc.
Make him physically understand that his behavior is unacceptable. You run the show. You are the parent…show him who is boss.
