Governor: I won’t sign cigarette tax
LINCOLN (AP) – Gov. Dave Heineman predicts a proposal that would more than triple Nebraska’s cigarette tax to $1.99 a pack will not survive this legislative session, and he says he would not sign it if it reaches his desk.
