you can use some of the anti smoking stuff thats out there like the gum or the patch thing… Theres also a shot you can get once a month that stops the nicotene craving.. If not good old fashion will power

    I quit 5 years ago…
cold turkey is the best way! It is HARD but once you get through the withdrawl symptoms you will never want to start back.
    Things that helped me:
brush your teeth right after eating instead of smoking, or brush your teeth and drink a glass of water when you have the urge to smoke.

Eat a twizzler slowly but put it between your finger like a cigarette, helps with the urge to have the habbit

try to hang with people who don’t smoke more often, that super helps!

If you can’t deal with the the side effects try the patch but DON”T SMOKE if you are using it!

    Good luck!

Chantix, Chantix, Chantix——Wow is this good stuff.
I’m not one for drugs of any kind but this stuff helped. 1 1/2 packs a day for 16 yrs. stopped.
It’s a little pricey at 125 a mo.(3 mos.) but worth it and very little side effects.
REMEMBER, YOU HAVE TO WANT TO QUIT.
p.s. if you use it, make sure to stay on it for the 3 mos.(I had a little relapse)

My grandmother used to smoke. She was smoking a pack a day. Every couple days, she would smoke one less cigarrette, until she reached zero.

Its a good decision that you have taken to quit smoking. The real point is that people smoke for many reasons and many times the reason is that they want to do something and they lit a cigarette. To help that you can try for some substitute when ever you feel like smoking. My friend had the same problem and he took the help of nicotine gum, whenever he felt like smoking he used one. The best point is that he received a free sample of 100 gum to try for free, they helped him and he then continued with them till he quit. I am sure it can help you too, you can also ask for free sample, he got it from the resource included below.. All the Best!!!
    You can try

    Hey Bailly,

I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.

Eventually a friend told me about a NLP method, check out this article: http://www.squidoo.com/Not_Smoking_Any_More
it’s the one that got me off the cigs and smoke free for GOOD even without gaining weight! :)

    Good luck kicking the habit!
    J.
