Since you put this question in the CANCER section….I think you know the answer.

If you don’t care about cancer then how about:

Smoking stinks up your skin, your clothes, your house, your car, your breath

Smoking makes your skin wrinkle early and look like sh*t

    Smoking is expensive

Its not hard to quit, you just have to put your mind to it and say “enough is enough” unless you are just a weak willed person and too lazy to face the little struggle it takes to finally quit. Set a date and that is it. I did that March 15th 2008 and havnt had one since. But I smoked for years. It sucks at first but you get used to it. If you feel weak and want to give in. Get some nicotine gum. Its all up to how strong you want to be

    Yes. Stop NOW.

The more you smoke and the longer you smoke, the harder it becomes to quit and more addictive it becomes.

Have you seen those smoking ads? Pretty nasty stuff, smoking. You’re only 17. You’ve got a whole life ahead of you don’t waste it on cigarettes.

Oh for gods sake Jasmine cut it down. Mind you it is hard living in this cockeyed world with non smokers. I don’t smoke but I would never have a non smoking friend.

Do you enjoy having your breath stink? How do you feel about yellow teeth and wrinkles around your mouth? In a few years you will need to lug an oxygen tank with you everywhere you go to hep you breathe because of emphysema. That’s if lung cancer doesn’t kill you first.

Yes, you have to stop now or it will become much worse. Buy some Nicorette gum to get you through it.

Yes. I think you should stop now before you are so addicted to nicotine it will be almost impossible to quit.

Smoking is extremely bad for you, your death will probably be caused from smoking, smoking is a very bad thing to do, I know its hard to quit, You just have to do it, because You don’t want your children growing up with you smoking, The children will inherit 2nd degree smoke in there lungs from the exhaustion of you smoking, I know its very hard, Just stop thinking about it, try saying to yourself “Just one more day” Just try not to smoke one day at a time.

If you want to live, don’t even think about it…

My grandfather is lung cancer now, our doctor said: He will be OK, because he didn’t smoke more than a year! If a person smokes; his lungs takes irreparable damage and if he got a lung problem (Considering you will get one if you continue…) fixing it will be x10 times harder!

For your own sake, don’t smoke // Don’t let people smoke !!!

Don’t make the same mistake I did. I started when I was 16 and smoked on and off until I was 22. I finally was able to quit by taking a pill called Chantix after 6 years of harming myself. It’s not worth it. I think you should talk to your parents about your problem, they will want to help you and maybe one of them used to smoke and has some tips for you. You can also call your doctor and ask about what you should do.

You just have to say “no more!”. I quit smoking nearly 3 years ago. I smoked a pack a day, and smoked Newports (those are the hardest to quit IMO). One day, after getting sick of my stinky, expensive habit, I said “today, I will not smoke.” And I didn’t. Instead I ate candy – and let myself have as much candy as I wanted for 2 weeks after my quit date. I ate Dots because a mouth full of Dots is as time consuming as a cigarette :) And I did it :) I tried to quit at least 10 times before that, and finally did it with my Dots :) Of course, you have to find what works for you, but for me, that is how I finally broke the chains. And it wasn’t even that hard – because I found what worked for me :)
