Can I fully quit smoking and get it out of my system?

I had my first cigarette like two years ago. I started to become a chain smoker a year ago. And I’m finally trying to quit now. I want to play sports again but every time I go running, I run out of breathe really fast. Is there anyway that this will stop happening to me? I want to be able to run like I use to be. Please don’t write any stupid answers. Thanks for your help.

You could try detoxing your system.. you can buy kits to do it. My friend did it after he quit smoking and was coughing up black tar.. it was gross but he said he felt a lot better after.

no. the side effects will continuously effect you for the rest of your life. however quitting smoking can cause a lot of good things, within 24 hours your chances for heart disease and cancer lowers. so its always worth quitting however you should move at a good pace first week cut your amount in half then cut that in half the next week and so on until your only doing 1 or 2 then cut them out and it should be easier. that’s how i quit

from toady..before u smoke just glance at the packet ur holding. in bold letters i am sure u’ll see SMOKING IS HARMFUL TO HEALTH. i dont know why they still manufacture them despite knowing how harmful it could be. okay lets assume that they r crazy. are we too crazy or illiterate?
smoking is harmful..nicotine mixes with the air we breathe in and enters the blood. and the result is lung cancer. gud way to suicide..isnt it?
if u really want to become normal…go to a yoga instructor and explain him all this. he will teach some really good breathing exercises which will permanently cure it. good luck:-)

Yes, you can reverse most of the effects of smoking, as you have only been doing it for a couple of years. It may take many months though.

the good news is that i now have been quit for over 5 years.. i quit trying to quit alone, and joined a support group.. i attend nicotine anonymous meetings both locally and on line.. on line voice meetings are he as close as your computer, and you can attend while still smoking, before actually attempting a quit.. however you decide to quit good luck, there is simply no wrong way to quit!!
