Anyone trying to quit smoking cold turkey?

If anyone out there is trying to quit cold turkey, hows it going? Those of you who HAVE quit and never went back, howd you do it? What helped? Im having a hell of a time with it. I can go four days then it just becomes to painful and I go right back to it. Ive tried every single quitting gimmick possible but nothing helps. I miss the ACT of smoking but I dont want to spend 40 dollars on a e cig. Any suggestions?

Try doing the motion of smoking without actually smoking.

i know this isnt a very professional thing to say but start smoking weed ( joint form ) because you still get the smoke and the action of smoking but no tar or nicotine or chemicals and once your high sit back watch some TV and eat some ice cream and youl forget all about cigarettes

    It helped me

if you want to stop smoking you can’t just just quit cold turkey. your body atd mind has to adjust the amount of nicotine its reciving. if you smoke a lot then smoke alot. lets say you smoke 8 a day theoretically then smoke 8 a day for like a couple days then go to 7 1/2. after a couple more days go down to 7 and so forth. if you still have a strong urge try reducing your intake slower and just take some more time decreasing the amount of nicotine intake. give it awhile and im sure you can do it but you have to believe that you can do it and have some will power, good luck.
