Only mental factor. If you want to quit, you can. If there is a will there is a way. Start chewing gum.

Get rid of it and Say NO when it is offered.

Pot is not chemically addicting, but it is mentally addicting.

I used to smoke all the time when I was a teen. I joined the military and haven’t touched it since. I’m ot telling you to join, but find an interest and go for it.

    Boxing, MMA, Judo?

sorry to say but the easiest way to start is by only smoking when your around others and not alone but if its happening all around you that can be tough, you need to find hobby’s or interests that doesn’t involve people you don’t normally smoke with, also something that keeps your head and hands busy, a holiday somewhere new can also help a lot, it get you used to doing without and while your heads busy soaking up the new scenery it will take your mind off things so that when you come back you have got the distance from it to keep going,
    Best of luck.

It is difficult when your family and friends smoke. I had the same situation. I let my family and friends know that I wanted to quit. In my experience it isn’t really a physical addition, it is a bad habit you are used to doing. Just part of the routine. At first I didn’t smoke until after 7 pm, then 8 pm, then no smoking on week nights at all. My mom and brother smoke, but they are nice and try not to smoke around me and never offer it to me. I made new friends that don’t smoke and spend time with them. When I see my old friends they know I have quit and usually don’t pass it my way. When I had smoked up all of what I had I knew I wasn’t going to buy any more. I did stretch that last bit out, one hit an evening for a while. But before long I didn’t even think about smoking after work. So, just retrain yourself. You will get used to not having it in your life. It may take a few weeks or months, but in the long run it is worth the effort. Make a decision and stick with it. Good luck.
