I am ready to stop smoking, should I try hypnosis?

I have been smoking for too many years and I have heard a lot of people say they have used hypnosis to stop, but I am wondering if it really works.

I am a cynic especially when it comes to things like hypnosis, However with nicotine cessation i have heard amazing impressing things!
Even with something as incredibly and terribly addictive as nicotine is a mental addiction after a few days. Perhaps something like hypnosis/programming does work.
When it comes down to it will power alone is what will help you quit. Educate yourself about quitting. Get some literature, perhaps check out a website i bet there is one for your state to help smokers quit.
My state has a program that helps people with nicotine patches, and gum for a time.
Good luck, be strong, its a work in process this life thing.

Start smoking weed. I smoke a bowl everytime I crave a cigarette….no more cravings.

When I decide to stop smoking I did some research online and I asked people I know. There are those patches, that nasty gum and medication. Most people who were able to stop without the cravings and didn’t go back had used hypnosis.

I decided to give it a try and hyposis worked for me. That was 4 years ago and I am still a non-smoker. I have sent many people to see my hypnotist, in fact I think his father was a hypnotist too. If you are in Dallas, check out http://hypnomark.com, he knows what he is doing.

He takes his time and does what he needs to do. I am having a contest with a friend I referred to Mark, we are seeing who can send him the most people to stop smoking, right now I am winning.

It is sure, practicing hypnosis stop smoking.

Hypnosis is a popular technique used for weight loss, smoking cessation, healing, relaxation and stress relief. It’s used to get rid of undesired behaviors and beliefs and to manifest new desires.

If you want to influence your subconscious mind to accept new programming for positive changes hypnosis is an effective method for doing that.

One of the main benefits of hypnosis is that when you in a hypnotic state brain wave frequencies slow down. You concentrate or focus your awareness and you are actually much more aware than usual.

Hypnosis does work and is proven, and i have used it personally. However it does not work for most people. If it did you would have hypnosis clinics on every corner. There are better methods that you can use that are similar to hypnosis that are more effective and less expensive

it’s all about your mindset towards it. my parents went to get it done about 5 or 6 years ago. she had been smoking for only a few years and was more than ready to quit – it worked for her and she hasn’t had one since. my dad had been smoking since he was 18 and just wanted to see if it worked – it didn’t work for him and he still smokes. it’s different for everyone.

I have personally experienced success at quitting smoking with hypnosis. Hypnosis has no physical implications like drugs, it’s fairly immediate, and there is really no need to wean yourself off it, the way you have to with a nicotine substitute. I quit smoking after 3 hypnotherapy sessions over 7 1/2 years ago, after having smoked for more than 30 years. It was comfortable, affordable and lasting. I remain smoke-free and it feels fine. The process was fairly easy.

I am also a professional, Certified Hypnotherapist, and on my website, and Yelp you can read a number of testimonials from people who have also had positive results from hypnosis sessions. I teach my clients to do self-hypnosis, so they can help to support their own work. If you want to stop smoking, hypnosis is a wonderful way to help yourself do it more easily. I found you do not even need to want to stop 100% — I think I wanted to stop about 75%-80%, and was successful. Hypnosis is not magic, and it’s not mind control — at least not someone else controlling your mind — it’s YOU, controlling your own mind, and you will do what is best for you — but hypnosis makes that so much easier.

    Best wishes!

It is definitely a good idea for you to stop smoking. It is very harmful to your health. It can be hard though so I would use a support program to help you.
You may want to check out this site: http://www.mindmaster.tv/success.html
You could try their program. It is based on subliminal programming. Subliminal programming is similar to hypnosis but much more effective and long lasting. Plus you can do it yourself in the privacy of your home rather than paying someone who might not even be a real hypnotist.

I have seen this program help many people with a variety of issues- stress, anxiety, smoking, trouble losing weight, low confidence, and many other problems. It’s free to try too :) I just got my copy after a friend recommended it and I can tell it is already helping me.
