Hypnosis books?

Hi, I’m wondering what are some good guide books or manuals for hypnosis. I look on alot of websites and they’re all pretty much stuff like losing weight and stop smoking. I’m looking for a book that covers general hypnosis in all areas such as history, performing, use in today… something around that catergory.

Hypnosis is nothing to mess around with.There are many cases on record of hypnosis being used unethical and resulting in a great deal of harm being done.You can be prosecuted for misusing it and the charges are far worse than a slap on the wrist.
Do you mean that someone wants to read? Maybe there is hope for us! And wants books WOW.
OK here we go Milton Erickson,M.D. This book has a tape that fits in a pocket in the cover.. It was last published 25-30 years ago. This is classic hypnosis by the grand master of modern hypnosis. Covers everything from induction to deepening and how to phrase instructions and suggestions.
by as used book (not cheap) I attended some of his classes and seminars. Any of the manuals by LeCrone there are bunches of these. Powers mostly cheap how to books but some interesting techniques. Set up something with a used book store or stores and they may have books available. do Internet searches for old books.
Part of your question mentioned performing. Stage hypnotists have more to blacken the practice of hypnosis than you could imagine. I was first certified in 1954 and am now retired if you have reasonable questions please write my specialties are stress reduction, and pain control I taught group classes in a local adult education program until the program was canceled. I have also taught group classes in the local university.
