How do I get my boyfriend to stop smoking?

My boyfriend smokes a lot, and his mom and dad don’t know. I want him to stop so badly, but he can’t. His brother, dad, mom, and sister smoke, so now he does. I want him to quit, and he does too, but he doesn’t know how. Can you give me any tips that aren’t Chant-ix, The patch, or hypnosis. I said just chew gum (that’s what i do) but it doesn’t work because he goes through a back a day. The thing is that he’s only 15. He can’t tell his family, they’ll kick him out . And i don’t know what cold turkey means!

cold turkey means quitting completely!! like nothing at all, until he doesn’t want anymore cigarettes,……
His whole family smokes and they’ll kick him out if he does? That’s a bit hypocritical.
If he says he can’t, he’s obviously not ready to and doesn’t have the commitment because he doesn’t want to stop. Sorry~
Your boyfriend seems to be hooked on nicotine, lets not forget it’s not only a habit but also an addiction. Quitting will be one of the hardest thing he will do. He may go through withdrawal symptoms since he’s so used to nicotine. Apparently, quitting cold turkey, or quitting all of a sudden seems to be the easiest approach to quitting smoking for most.

I was a heavy smoker, over a half pack a day for about 3 years and quit cold turkey. I havent smoked in years and the hardest time is the first ten days and then it just gets easier and easier. In fact when I smell cigarette smoke Im literaly disgusted and has the opposite effect on me. Quitting drinking on the other hand has been very hard. It just keeps taking me down and has been very difficult. I had one 19 month period of not taking a single drop though. You just have to hit point where youre really sick and tired. I quit smoking pretty easily.
you wont be able to make him stop. it is only his mentality that will make him stop. if he really thinks he really really want to stop he will. trussssssst me whatever you do, as he is addicted it is only HIM who can do it nobody else.
