has anyone had any success with hypnosis to stop smoking?

thinking of being hypnotised to stop smoking, have only heard negative reports and would like to hear from anyone that has found it helpful before I waste lots of money

My son had such a success story that I could not believe it. He had it done about 8 years ago and apart from a ‘refresher’ about a year from when it was done, he has had no problem and has not smoked or wanted a cigarette since. I was, and continue to be, fully amazed……………..
A friend of ours did it, and he started smoking again 6 months down the road.
I tried that but it didn’t work for me. What did work was laser therapy, which they did on my hands and face. Haven’t smoked in 9 years now.
