Hi! I’ve been smoking for 19 years and tried Chavix last year for one solid month. Now- it did work- I did not smoke. However, I gained 15 pounds and became very depressed and beyond angry. My mood swings were insane and I took it out on anyone in my path. I finally realized it was the Chavix and stopped for a week- I went back to normal and do not recommend it to anyone. What did work for me was going to a hypnotist. I know it sounds crazy but they put you in a relaxed state and after a few sessions you quit without wanting to kill anyone or gaining weight.

How many people @ answers have used the Stop Smoking pill Chantix and does it work?
I have smoked since i was 16 yrs old now 45 what are the side effects

Werner Michael answers:
I took Chantix from October through December of last year. The main side effects I had included upset stomach and weird dreams. The upset stomach only lasted for about 30 minutes after taking each dose of Chantix and towards the end of week 1 whenever I’d smoke. The weird dreams lasted the entire time I was on the medicine.
A coworker also took Chantix and he reported the same side effects.
I used to smoke 1-2 packs a day (more if I went to the bar) and I haven’t had a cigarette since October.
Good luck quitting!

Daniel asks…
is Chantix, the “quick&easy way to stop smoking” pill dangerous to your health and does it really work?
please, only answers from those who’ve tried it. i want to know how it effected you and what kind of side effects occured.

Werner Michael answers:
It helped me quit after forty years. It still takes a lot of will power but i think its a miracle drug and many of my friends and family have also had success. The only side effect i noticed was i dreamed more. You have to want to fight the addiction and this drug makes it much less frustrating

George asks…
Is there a stronger stop smoking pill?
My doctor put me on Novo-Bupropion Sr last year, he said it was the same as Zyban and non addictive, I used it and i quit smoking for about 8 months and then I started smoking again. I am trying to use it again to stop smoking but it just does not seem to work as well as the first time. Is there a stronger form of this 150 mg pill or something different that works better to help me quit the smokes again?

Werner Michael answers:
Chantix. A lot of my friends that have quit used this med to help and said it was easier than any other med they tried.
