Wow guys its a question.
Hun. The baby would need A LOT of hospital visits if it lived and yes they will take the baby if ur not clean.
Cigarettes arent a problem
Pot can be smoked till ur 3rd trimester. So 6 months
everything else can or will kill the baby

Mark asks…

Why is it so hard to stop smoking? and is there a trick to quitting besides synthetic drugs?

I don’t want to substitute one drug for another (chantix, etc), but I’m really desperate to stop today! I’ve cut back dramatically, but it seems like when my heart rate is elevated from exercise or stress, I get a terrible craving for cigarettes. The same thing happens when I have conversations with other people, or if I see or smell someone else smoking.

Any advice from former smokers will help.. Thanks!

Werner Michael answers:

When you are really truly ready to quit, you will succeed. You need to make a plan. You need something to do instead of smoking when the urge strikes or when you are in a situation where you would usually light up. Plan ahead for these situations, throw the smokes away and tell everyone who will listen that you have quit. Once I told people I had quit I refused to light up again because I did not want people to think I failed. That was actually a great motivator for me. Then reward yourself for working so hard. You will have cravings, at first often then it will get less and less but I don’t think they ever go totally away. I have been quit for 7 years and once in a while I get the urge but it passes. Every minute, hour or day you manage not to light up gets you that much closer to a healthier and wealthier life! Good Luck!!!! If you find you can not quit on your own call the local hospital and ask about support groups or quit smoking classes.

Sharon asks…

how can i stop smoking/using drugs?

lately i’ve been smoking a lot more weed, drinking way more than i used to, and smoke cigarettes more than i ever used to.
i think its because i’m so stressed out that i’m giving into peer pressure so easily, but my friends constantly smoke and drink when i’m around them.
i’m not going to stop hanging out with them just because of this, but i hate who i’m becoming and i’d like to stop this before it gets worse.

by the way, i’m only 15.

Werner Michael answers:

When I was your age I went through the same thing.
I smoked, drank, did all sorts of drugs and had a group of friends that did all of the same things.
I decided that I should quit because it was starting to ruin my life. The only problem was that, oops…I couldn’t stop even when I tried.
I became really anxious and depressed. I finally was put into a 12-step program where unfortunately I found that it was necessary for me to distance myself from my friends in order to not get high.
The good news was that I made new friends in my 12-step group. Friends that made it easier not to drink and get high. I have not had anything to drink in 9 years and stopping was THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE! My old friends? Dropped out of school or in jail…every one of them.
It will suck now, I know this, but the outcome is worth it. I promise you.
Good luck!
