just how bad is smoking from 1-10?And how to stop? And what are the benefits in smoking?
Im talking about cigarettes. I dont want answers like “find the will” i want simple, free, and easy ways to stop smoking. and what are the positive benefits in smoking?

In terms of “how bad” smoking is…depends on a lot of stuff. If you smoke cigarettes in moderation (like…maybe a half-pack/day or less) it’s probably less bad than overeating during a long period of time….so maybe like a 3, if 10 is really bad. Notice I say “less bad”, because tobacco smoke is bad for you, no matter what. You smoke a bunch of cigarettes a day, probably like a 7-8.
Benefits of smoking? For me, I am able to relax and meditate when I smoke. I, for one, am just too damn ADD to sit still and try to meditate for a half-hour each day. Nothing gets me focused quite like going outside and lighting up a nice cigarette.
How to quit? That’s the million-dollar question. The best success rates are found by those who, pardon my french, go “balls to the wall” and quit cold turkey. Nicotine Replacement Therapies are OK, but it’s not as good as the “real thing”

Stop smoking weed benefits?
Hi Ive been smoking weed now almost everyday for the past 6 moths, I want to quit because i dont have any motivation for anything and am starting to get depressed.
So my question is if you used to smoke weed regularly, and you decided to quit, what benefits did you get from quitting. for example, improved memory, more motivation ect. Thank you for those who answered my question.

If you stop the one thing that you will undoubtedly notice is that you will find money in your pocket more often and you will be able to loose weight easier because you won’t be eating all the time. Lol
I don’t smoke it except at night or when I don’t have anything serious to do.

What are the benefits of Stopping smoking marijuana?
I have been smoking pot every day for about ten years. Part of the reason is that it helps with symptoms I have from having my colon removed a few years ago (such as diahrea). I want to stop smoking because I think the pot may be interrupting my ability to concentrate during the day, even when I’m not high, or don’t feel high. But then again I wasn’t good at concentrating even before I started smoking pot. So I’m not sure stopping will help with that.

My husband and I have been smoking pot for about the same time you have. We have also thought about quitting but not too sure if it will make us better or not. Honestly, it cuts back on our smoking cigarettes and drinking so, I think we will keep smoking pot. We enjoy it socially and responsibly. If we stop, I think we will probably be “not so nice people”…LOL Enjoy!

Should i stop smoking even if i think it has benefits?
I started smoking as a mental release. Originally it wasn’t cigarettes i was smoking but something a bi stronger lets just say. Now i just smoke cigarettes It helps me relax and not think about things that cause stress. Anyway Im smoking more and more now because I have more cravings then i used to and im dependant on it. I know it affects your health, but isn’t mental health more important than physical health?
I cant do sports anymore, theres something wrong with my leg.

Yes, you should stop b’coz it harm you..
About relax, there are million of ways for that..
(ex- do something that won’t pressure ur brain)

Yes of course! Your teeth will have less of a chance of degrading and you can get them whitened and they will not continue to get yellow. Your chances of cancers will not increase through the years anymore. It will be very beneficial to your health to stop now. My grandfather smoked for nearly 70 years and did not get cancer until he had been smoking for 50 or 60 years! If he had stopped after 30 years he could have lived much longer and definitely healthier.
Good luck. Try chewing gum when you get a craving; find the flavor you like the best. Follow a health regime. Some men take up going to a gym when they want to smoke because it also blows off the stress which is the main reason people smoke.
