Your Questions About Quit Smoking Weed

Laura asks…
What happens to your body if you quit smoking weed right now?
Many of us have seen the chart titled “What happens to your body if you quit smoking right now?” It is pretty easy to find. How many of these entries apply to weed? How long will it be until the mental aspects of weed (laziness, fuzzy thinking, paranoia) dissipate and I can no longer use the substance as an explanation? How long until I will no longer test positive?

Werner Michael answers:
In about 2-3 weeks+ w/ enough water consumption you’ll be fine [piss test]
— if you have high fat % you may need longer period of time [just scientific fact] –
The side effects of weed is literally all in your head.
At one point I kept thinking that weed will make me forget things & even after I smoked I kept thinking that it was the effects of Bud that made me forgetful.
However once I began just smoking & didn’t Think about the adverse effects it wasn’t there.
The car keys example, when I’m I’m high I used to have a tendency to panic & wonder where I put them, BUT once I just Chilled & just thought about it for a second I’ll remember they were sitting right next to me…
Trust me its all in your head. — Its a learning process, you gotta come to adapt.

Thomas asks…
How do I get my boyfriend to quit smoking weed?
I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 2 weeks and I would really like him to stop smoking weed, but he wont.He means alot to me, and so therefore that makes me scared for him. He says that he would quit for me, but not right away.I don’t know what to do, HELP!

Werner Michael answers:
I don’t know if you CAN stop him, he has to want to stop. You’ve only been together for 2wks and how long has he been smoking? Do you really think he’ll stop for you? Or will he just be lying to you so early on in this relationship about the fact that he has stopped? Maybe the best thing for you to do is to decide if your willing to go on further with someone that has such a strong habit. If you feel like you can stay with him then set some ground rules like: When you go out he must be sober, or you don’t want to smell the weed on him ect.
But on the other hand if you can’t stay with him because of this then walk away, but let him know you care and can’t stand what he’s doing to himself. Afterall its only been 2wks.

How do I get my common law boyfriend/father of my child to quit smoking weed?
I feel like I have tried everything to get him to stop, but he does it every day at least 3 or 4 times per day and he plans on never quiting. It’s like his whole identity. Has anyone ever found a way to get someone to quit smoking weed Ohhh pleasse tell me. Our girl is 6 months old and I don’t want her to grow up with a pot head for a father.

Werner Michael answers:
You give him a choice — it’s your family or your weed.
If he picks the pot– you pack up the baby and leave.
When you make that ultimatum – you already have worked out a place to go and a suit case packed. When he says he picks the drugs — you load put your bag in the car and you leave right then.
You then go to court to get a child support order.
If you ever watch the show “Intervention” on A&E. When they do the interventions– the family members ask the person to get help. But they also tell them…”If you don’t this is how things will change”. And the changes are drastic.
If he still chooses drugs over his daughter – you get your life together and you find someone who will treat you with the love and respect you deserve and who will be a good father to your daughter.
Good Luck.

Paul asks…
I just quit smoking weed. What can i do to keep myself busy and entertained?
I am 17 and have been smoking weed since 7th grade. I was smoking 8-10 times a week, and recently went cold turkey. I really want to quit permanently, but i’m not sure what i can do in my free time to keep me from reverting to my old habits. Any help would be appreciated.

Werner Michael answers:
Sit down when you get a chance and make a list of things you want to accomplish (short term, long term, whatever). Think of things you’re interested in or would like to try and go from there. Maybe you can get some friends together and play sports or video games and have tournaments the same time each week, something to make it fun and exciting. Or maybe you could build something? You could always read (it doesn’t have to be boring reading, go find a book about something you WANT to read about- sex, drugs, rock and roll- seriously though there are great books about all of those).
The key is finding something you like or are good at. Just doing anything to take your mind off smoking usually works.

Hello there mate. I was in your exact same position have been off it for a while now and have found a few things that helped me. Try avoiding situations where you get stoned, get a hobby of something other than weed related, also clear out all your weed paraphernalia.
This is a good start. I found a few websites that helped. Http://stopsmokingweedsecrets.blogspot.com/2010/02/tips-to-stop-smoking-weed_21.html for one as that is where I got the tips a gave you from. It has a report that’s free from a guy who has beaten weed addiction. Go check it out.
